A knowledge of taxation is required for almost all CII financial services exams. It is specifically tested in two exams:
- R03
- AF1
R03 provides a general introduction to the subject whilst AF1 will go into much more detail.
For that reason there are two separate set of notes. The R03 notes provide a quick introduction to the subject and could also be useful for AF1 candidates who have not taken a tax exam for some time.
