I first started in general insurance way back in 1970. It doesn’t take a great deal of maths to work out that I must be over 70. Having joined a Building Society which later became a bank, in the 1980’s I got more involved in personal financial planning and ended up as a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute and the Personal Finance Society.
I started to get involved in CII/PFS exams in the lates 90’s and have been a correspondance tutor, run study groups and tutored CII events.
I have been a senior and associate examiner for a number of subjects although I am no longer involved in this work so I have no insights into any future exams.
Once I retired I decided continue training on a freelance basis specialising in the CII/PFS exams.
Good afternoon John,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you.
I failed R03 on my first attempt earlier this year, I then watched your R03 webinar in July and then re-watched it the week before my exam and I passed today, thank you so much, it gave me a much better understanding of the book.
For all my future exams I will keep an eye out for your webinars.
Kind regards
Lauren
Congratulations
Glad to be of help
Let me know if I can assist you in the future
